About the Author

C. L. West began writing romance in a time of her life when romance felt an impossible and improbable fantasy. While watching a long term relationship crumble away, she found escape in creating characters who, despite flaws, fears, and obstacles, found a way of making love work out.

And thus her first romance, Staged, was written and published in a matter of months.

Now, she enjoys continuing to craft stories in her free time, both under this name and a separate pen name where she creates non-romantic YA fantasy novels.

She lives in Kansas, with her amazing other half, who might as well have stepped off the pages of a romance book. Together, they live on a small amount of acreage where they have four horses, five chickens, and six (yes six) dogs…

When not writing, C. L. West enjoys spending time binging shows with her best friend/love of her life, working with her horses, or playing guitar (poorly) and singing at the top of her lungs.
